argemas MES measures the actual cycle time and operator performance of every station on the sewing line in real time. The system automatically detects the stations where bottlenecks form, balances the workload to prevent pile-ups and increases line output. With the andon and technical support line, a machine breakdown or material shortage is reported to the relevant unit instantly, so the line does not stop and delivery dates are protected.
@rgeWMS manages textile's unlimited color/size/drop combinations with a single variant code structure. Fabric rolls are tracked by meterage and lot, and finished goods in boxed and hanging-garment shipment formats, all with addressed locations. Lot-based management removes the risk of shade differences. Packing lists are verified simultaneously with mobile handheld terminals, eliminating the risk of wrong loading.
The subcontract tracking module of argemas MES monitors every externally performed operation, such as printing, embroidery and washing, from a single center. Fabric and accessories sent to the subcontract workshop are dispatched by lot, and the quantity and quality control of the returning goods is approved in the system. Logistics and subcontractor capacities are taken into account in the advanced planning module to calculate realistic delivery dates.
argemas ERP calculates the pre-cost from the bill of materials (BOM) at the collection design stage. Fabric, accessory, subcontracting and labor items are included automatically. When production is complete, the post-cost is calculated automatically from the actual operator time, waste and subcontracting data coming from MES. Comparing the two costs reports the real profitability of each style, so next season's pricing decisions are based on data.
Yes. argemas collects data from any machine and any operator; it calculates OEE for machines and efficiency for people. Data is read from the machine's own controller over protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus or Siemens S7. Older machines without electronic outputs get added sensors, or the @rgeRover IoT terminal reads their current, vibration and counter signals. Stops and running times are monitored in real time.
Yes. argemas MES modules can be taken one at a time and fed from your existing ERP; SAP, Logo, Netsis, Mikro or Oracle stays in place. More than 30 ready-made ERP integrations synchronise orders, bills of materials, stock and cost data in both directions: the ERP passes the order to MES, and MES feeds actual production, operator time and waste back to the ERP. You digitalise only the production layer and leave your ERP project untouched.
argemas measures each operator's efficiency on each operation: pieces produced are multiplied by the operation's standard time and divided by the operator's working time. Pieces are counted through the bundle system or a barcode or RFID tag on every product, so even years later you can find which operator sewed a part and who inspected it. Lost time such as machine breakdowns or waiting for material is started and stopped with a card scan or keypad and reported separately from efficiency. Results are monitored in real time by line, product, operator and operation.
Standard time is set in two ways. In a stopwatch time study the method engineer records the operation on a tablet and enters a pace rating, and statistical cleaning algorithms clean the measurement. In the MTM module an operation video is uploaded, its motions are analysed against a library of defined sub-motions, and the time is calculated automatically. Results are saved to the operation bank. Actual pieces and times collected on the shop floor are compared with this standard by operator, operation and order, and the gap between the master-data time and the actual time is reported.
From historical data argemas knows each operator's efficiency on each operation and calculates every line's capacity from those parameters. When a product is selected it suggests which operator should run which operation, and advanced planning and scheduling assigns orders to the lines that give the highest output. Parallel and sequential machines, due dates and other defined constraints are taken into account. In garment plants with many orders and many lines, the plan is updated together with actual production.
Yes. The subcontract workshop's capacity and efficiency are entered into the system or calculated from data argemas MES collects, so the subcontractor appears in the planning module as a resource like your own lines. You can assign ready orders to the lines or subcontractors you choose and set constraints to calculate delivery dates. Fabric and semi-finished goods sent out are dispatched by lot, and the quantity and quality of returning goods are approved in the system.
Yes. In the argemas Fabric Inspection Module fabric rolls are barcoded, length data from the inspection machine is transferred automatically and defects are recorded instantly on a touchscreen. Defects are scored with the 4-point system, and each roll gets a quality map showing which defect occurs at which metre. The plant's acceptance and rejection criteria and defect codes are defined in the system, so defective fabric is separated before it reaches cutting. During production, roving sample checks for SPC can also be made with handheld terminals.
Yes. argemas's web and mobile reporting layer is a business intelligence (BI) solution that lets you monitor efficiency, performance, quality and bonus data collected on the shop floor from anywhere. Users can design and save graphical, numerical or calculated dashboards and reports without any software knowledge. Hundreds of ready-made report templates are also included, and results by line, product, operator, machine and operation are monitored in real time on web and mobile devices.
