Digital Product Passport

Give your products a digital identity with end-to-end traceability

Traceability is the essence of MES. With the uninterrupted traceability it delivers across material, workforce, quality and energy, argemas MES produces your factory's digital proof for your digital product passport and carbon footprint processes.

Traceability Across Four Domains

The Building Blocks of Traceability

Material Traceability

Every lot, serial number and supplier record is tracked digitally, from raw material to finished product. During a recall, you can pinpoint the affected batch within minutes.

Workforce Traceability

We instantly map which operator worked at what performance level against every quality record generated. The human effort and quality history behind each product becomes a fully transparent timeline.

Quality Traceability

In-line, end-of-line and final quality control records, defect types, control plans and approvals, are stored against the product identity. You stay audit-ready for international standards at all times, IATF 16949 first among them.

Energy Traceability

Energy consumption is measured in real time per machine, line and station across the shop floor with @rgeRover. Energy consumed per product feeds directly into the carbon footprint calculation.

Strategic Outputs

What Traceability Delivers for You

We turn the production data we collect into two concrete outputs that meet your export and sustainability requirements.

Digital Product Passport

Presents the material origin, production conditions, quality records and recyclability information required under the EU's Digital Product Passport (DPP) and ESPR regulations within a single digital identity. With QR code / GS1 integration, it is instantly accessible from the product itself.

Carbon Footprint Data

Measured energy, material and operation data becomes a reliable source for Scope 1-2-3 carbon footprint calculations per product. Base your CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) and sustainability reporting on real production data rather than estimates.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital register that holds a product's entire life-cycle data, component genealogy, chemicals used, energy consumption, carbon footprint, repair & spare-part information, from raw material to recycling, in a standard format accessible via QR / NFC. Under the EU's ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation), it is becoming mandatory for many product categories. It is directly binding for Turkish manufacturers exporting to the EU market.
For ESPR / DPP compliance, you must collect, starting at the supplier level, raw-material lot, material composition, production operations, quality readings, energy consumption (kWh / part or kWh / lot), chemicals used and recyclability information. argemas MES sets up this data backbone out of the box with lot- and serial-level traceability, material genealogy, machine- and line-level kWh measurement under the energy heading, and quality records per operation. The WMS side links the supplier lot to the product lot, making a recall possible within minutes.
argemas MES links every operation, operator, machine, timestamp, quality reading and material lot recorded during production, building a complete genealogy tree per product. The same data backbone is exported for the DPP in JSON / XML format and can be queried by the customer or regulator via a QR code or NFC tag. For the carbon footprint (Scope 1/2/3), energy data and supplier emission factors are calculated. It shares the same infrastructure as CBAM reporting.
A DPP backbone is typically commissioned within 2–4 months on top of an existing argemas installation, for factories starting from scratch, it takes 4–8 months together with the MES, traceability and energy modules. It is suitable for all sectors exporting to the EU market, such as textile & apparel, automotive supply, furniture, footwear, food, chemicals, plastics and electrical-electronics. DPP investment is eligible for support under the KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK support programs, the technical files required for the application are provided by Arge Bilişim.
